The Last Day

The day I died
with tear I wept
feeling pain on my each step
an irrational fear going at real depth
of my heart and my mind
oh god! I cried
the day I died.
A rue spirit in my voice
I cried once or twice
tears ran down my cheeks
I felt helpless and lost
didn‘t knew where to seek
the day I died.
I implored to mighty
to yield some relief, please.
No sign came upon
I waited from dusk till dawn
and when bright sun arose
I permit my eyes to close
That day I died.

Hi, Akshay, this happens to be Linda's pick, we both picked a number one poem for this particular contest. Only she knows why, she choose this one? I love it and agreed with her. Congratulations, on your first place win. SKAT
