The Lap of Control

He may or may not have campaigned for the elation of destroying a nation,
But he and his friends are certainly responsible for it’s instigation.

Evil conniving …in the name of good, of course,
Destroying checks and balances with no remorse.

Wholeheartedly supported by most of the media,
In his power, he tells them what to feed ya.

Most of the media is now controlled.
Under guise of rights, souls are sold.

The above treat common people as fools,
And force feed them gangrened rules.

No one dares learn through world History,
How great countries died is no mystery.

History forever is repeating itself,
And is now with an eerie stealth.

Because people really never change,
It’s goodness and God be hanged.

Happily sitting and living in the deadly unholy seven,
The lap of six six six fearing another nine eleven.

But it’s already here in disguise and on the rise,
Laughing at fools who voted for his lies.

History. Take a look at Hitler’s regime,
And how he carried out his scheme.

Don’t just roll your eyes and shake your head no,
Look it up and see if it’s so.

He won Austria by starting a national health care plan,
To them, that made him the man.

Wasn’t that nice? Sure gave him some clout.
Want to read how that came out?

Talk about big government control!
People have jumped into his hellish hole.

The devil is real and that’s the deal.
Take a look around before you drown,
In the fire of his fate and the heat of his hate.

A lot of raw emotion in this message. How is it the ordinary citizen can pinpoint the evil and the leaders can't. Heads of state need to read this.

The present time is indeed very scary, Robert and I agree that our present leader has his own agenda. Most people do as long as it is money and greed that make them move. Very well written, definitely an eyes opener. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes, Caroline.

Powerful poem. Kind of scary how the government is taking control. It's good to see people awaking from their apathy in an effort to take this country back for "We The People." I've never seen so many politicians declare they aren't running for reelection. I think they are starting to get the message that the common people aren't happy. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and for your kind comments. Keep on writing! Karen

My Mama always told me, "show me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are." And yes, once again, man has put God aside and doing his own thing, his way....which always fails..but no body learns...This calls for deep introspection, Robert...Thanks for sharing this and thanks for your comments...Peace, Audrey

A brilliant perspective on our failure to learn from past mistakes, Robert. Really liked the line about 666 and 9/11. Quite a gem you have hear. Now if only people will hear your words and listen to the message! Love, Carolyn

nice write, Robert! I believe health care is a right for all, not just the rich! and congress! pretty much this poem could group every western nation as equal to Hitler's doom! I don't think this is the message? I respect freedom of speech though! good work! jimbo
