The Land of the Free

Look around you;
Is what you see is true.
America my home,
It is 310,452,000 so we’re not alone
The land of the free.
I thank God, for everything you’ve been so good to me.
No other place in this world but in this land.
Can you start with an empty hand,
And from nothing become something.
Live life to the fullest each and every day.
We use come together and pray.
From the rolling hills, and dirty streets, and windswept plains
I am strong, I am proud, I am weak, I am vain,
For the many who strive to hear the sound of opportunity but cannot.
Let my pen be your voice so that should say a lot
The icons of our fast-food world - French fries, hamburgers and cokes.
This might fill our belly’s but does this give us hope.
In the summer heat there is laughter of children in chlorine-blue city pools.
These same children in our future will be our leaders, so now what will do.
There is suffering of the lonely, of the hungry, of the dreamless who live without hope.
Just keep having faith and believe than just maybe together as America we can cope.

That's why we need the Jesus' kingdom to come and rule the Earth, then, the "Our Father" prayer will soon be a reality. (Matthew 6:9-14)
