The Lamp

The lamp post sits upon the right
Of the street shining its light
To reveal a snowflake fallling down
To stake a claim upon the ground

A spot so very small but yet
This is only a tiny step
For later on in the nights deep
More flakes will fall to hide the street

For though each flake is but small
They work together to cover all
To make the ground a shining white
The lamp reveals upon the right
