This is so sad Elizabeth. This is the first time I've run across anyone who felt as I do about this. A friend of mine runs a cattle operation. Once they searched high and low for a cow who was pregnant. Finally found her in a ravine trying to cover her calf with muskeg to hide it. I told her if it was me I would have let her keep that calf. Great job. From 1 to 7 this is a 10. God Bless, JB

I've been listening to the cows on a neighbouring farm for the last 3 days, it is so sad. I'm getting to distinguish the different sounds each animal makes, some sound long and drawn out whilst others sound like they are hyperventilating.....and all to give us our milk and beef.
