Bible stories mother used to tell me, and heard at church too. So much symbolism in the Bible. The Lamb is one of the easiest to fathom. They are so sweet and innocent looking.

Andrea, I read a story about a tribe of people somewhere in the world who had never heard of or seen a lamb. So how do you tell the story to them? Sara

Andrea, Also, one of the Priests said it was better that one Man should die and not the whole Jewish nation. He thought it better to get rid of Jesus(God's only Son) so that the nation would be safe but he did just the opposite. The priests killed the Messiah not believing in Him. They still look for a Messiah. Sara

Thank you for teaching me so much about Christian belief/theology in such a beautifully crafted poem, Sara. I like how you dotted the i's and crossed the t's, so to speak, in the denouement. Blessings, Gershon

Gershon, I can only speak for myself in what I believe. I feel that many people of the protestant faith believe the same. Your kind review is uplifting. Sara
