The 'L' Word
The word for what I feel inside
Once brought to light I cannot hide
It’s all consuming passionate lust
Can bring forth heaven or turn all to dust
These swirling thoughts of you and me
Our future and our family
I never thought that I could feel
But now I do, can it be real
Truth is what you ask from me
Yet truth can bring catastrophe
I've never felt like this before
To leave you is to want you more
If life could just be me and you
I'd gladly give up all I knew
The happiness of what we share
It seems that nothing could compare
Hope is born where once was none
How two songs sung can blend to one
The feeling I pray we share confessed
With you I feel deeply obsessed
