The Ku

hail the white knight
filled with might
sheets of white
dead of night
civil plight
no face in sight
split tongues cite
accused of blight
too late for flight
no chance to fight
bravery by kite
have no right
cruel delight
demonism’s height
aura of fright
ropes tight
done from spite
feign justice on site
death by fire light
mocking by rite
truth made lite
of thee I write
word meant to sleight
reduced to a mite
shine in infamy bright
fame is slight.
words bite

Incredible monorhyme, Charles. So much truth in the last two lines and each line flows very well to the next to convey your thoughts on the Ku Klux Klan. The images are right on target. Awesome! Love, Carolyn
