The Kraken Beneath
Hidden beneath the deep,
Is a monster that doth sleep,
And the journey to his dark chamber is steep.
At first glance,
You begin to weep.
His eyes almost put you in a trance,
For this monster there will be no song or dance.
It has been isolated for years and years,
but it has never wept,
Because monsters dont shed tears,
When it looks you in the eyes you can see your worst fears.
Has they show you that no one really cares,
About you or your tears.
And when he speaks its like words of glass,
But then its over in a flash,
Realizing with relief,
That its still down there,
And it still sleeps.
