The known

A little glimpse into a year later
A short sight of the promised happiness
A little help from someone who knows better
A companion to save me from being the only witness

The story has been read all day long
Each verse carrying within it the same line
Although we know where the end forever belong
Starting again doesn't seem to cost us a dime

A book I wrote in my own words
When read becomes a total mystery
Even with all I have observed in people's worlds
In the end the only thing known is history
