The Kingdom
I seek not to build a kingdom down here,
I am but a pilgrim and the Way is so clear.
I seek no means of gain from this life
where man is ensnared by worry and strife.
But I seek the riches of the Kingdom above
where my Father reigns in truth and in love.
The treasures of this life are corrupted and dim
in light of an eternity shared with Him.
Lord, while on my journey to the Kingdom beyond,
help me lead others the way Christ has gone.
Such a blessing is not only for me
but unto all who's eyes are opened to see.
