The Key to Happiness
Lies in your hands
It's always available to you
You just have to allow it to expand
It starts deep within you
It's part of your soul
It's in your breath and marrow
In your DNA and bones
You'll never find it outside of you
Those moments are fleeting at best
It needs to be revealed by your enlightenment
Through wisdom and knowledge and tests
For the irony of Happiness
Is that you have to live through sadness to appreciate it
You have to survive and thrive and grow
To allow it to flourish from within your healing
You aren't promised tomorrow
So make the most of your life now
Choose happiness and joy each moment
Make it a priority and commited vow
That Key to Happiness
Is the gift that you embrace
By living your truest authentic life
And being a beacon for life's grace
