The Key To Happiness

There will be days when you'll feel sad and dejected,
You'll wish that you could be happy and protected.
Some days you'll feel depressed and alone,
And your only friend will be your phone.
Remember, if those days ever come,
And you're drowning your sorrows with rum.
Pinch yourself and open your eyes,
Look around, here so much beauty lies.
There are billions of people in the world to meet,
Experience the Himalayan cold and the African heat.
There is so much in the world left to explore,
Pack your bags and step out of your door.
The more you experience, the happier you'll be,
A stagnant life can be depressing you see.
Go on an adventure, travel to new places,
Try new food and meet some new faces.
Your happiness and peace of mind will return,
Your melancholy and despair would burn.
You get just one life, make the most of it,
Have fun, all at once or bit by bit.
You never know when the time comes to say goodbye,
So smile and enjoy life or in regret you'll die.
