The Key

The pain, the sorrow, the regret
Refill my body with simple, pure happieness
Kill the hurt I feel inside
Let me live again
I never truly feel like I belong
But I try like hell to fit in
No matter what I go through
I always feel drained
I have the face of guilt
Hiding behind a mask of joy
Lying to everyone I love
Just to get the sense of satisfaction
Leaving behind all I believe
To put others before me
Making it impossible to feel whole
Suffocating my every being
Not knowing others, not knowing myself
Not knowing where it will end
The peace may never come
An endless battle against right and wrong
But you never truely feel the satisfaction
If you never try

nice one, the key is to just try and things will make a change and if not at least you know you tried and that's a better sense of satisfaction, enjoyed your write...P.D.
