The Keepsake

Intangible yet has a deeper bond within,
incomparable, no other words can crossed out,
derived that single moment where it all begin,
all spurted out, etched in wood, without any doubt.

Some carries it with stride, so inspirational,
interconnected with a chain altogether,
each represents simply, but big and colossal,
to that who beholds and serves it like a tether.

Whether it's worth the fight or not, fate will decide,
but it's us who'll stand for it to bend and defy,
may the countries clash with chaos, worlds will collide,
all will fall as we will walk with our chins up high.

A promise is a flame that will keep on burning,
scorches up no matter what the circumstances,
a seal that'll remain intact as I lay dying,
up until the end, down the last of my ashes.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
