The Jungle

THE JUNGLE The trees sway The birds fly The cats sit silently The monkeys swing The people smile The trees fall The birds die The cats run The monkeys fall The people smile The ashes fall The planes fly The concrete pours The children swing The people smile The earth crumbles The ground scorches The water turns to sand The people run There is no one left to smile
