The Judge When God rolls off the lips, Of lay persons and scholars alike: Words such as Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscience and Everlasting Come to mind. By definition unrestrained by human attributes, Unbounded by plurality. —Swear indeed upon the Book. It is the gavel’s weight that strikes the anvil, And puts to rest the case before the Banc. Merciful prudence to prevail impartiality, When the heart is weighed against the feather of truth; As civilization is judged. *** Note: Banc (Merriam-Webster Dictionary - French, noun): is the bench on which the judges of a court sit.
