The Jester

Fool of jesters
jester of fools
performs for fat
spindly legged kings
who slap their sides
in glee of his merriment
as around the court
he dances in his
three cornered hat
and turned up shoes
which jingle with
tiny bells as
with gaiety he
plays his mandolin
and sings of
the indiscretions
of lords and ladies..
