Notes About The Poem

The Jellyfish - a Dream

Two children stand in wonder
As a Jellyfish floats by
It's not in the water
But suspended in the sky

The canopy extended
Tentacles hang down
What a tale they have to tell
When next they go to town

The sea is bathed in moonlight
Their feet in salty foam
Stars will guide them on their way
When they turn their heads for home

A tale they'll tell their Mum and Dad
Who will have doubt on what they saw
A spaceship like a Jellyfish
Against all natures law
