The Jabberers

Those who have a lot to say Make sure that they get heard And even if discouraged They are often undeterred. While those who rarely speak their mind Find quiet is preferred, Yet sometimes in their silence They are granted the last word. The jabberers who bloviate May splutter, rage and roar But the more they prattle, we will find Them easy to ignore.

Oh my gosh, So true. The last line in the second verse was quietly profound.

Jabber-dabber-doo! LOL. Nicely penned, Ilene. You're right, those jabberers are best ignored. :) gw

Well said, Ilene! I've known jabberers who babble at 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 and bloviate more and say less! Glad you enjoyed Father Goose's writes. Take good care - Bob H
