The Innocent

The Innocent

When 2 people lay and play for fun.
Who's responsible when together they make a son?
You get up and walk away, what's done is done.
Who's left here to wipe the tears, calm the fears.
Raise him to learn right from wrong.
To be a good man.
Seems that's where you, yourself have gone very wrong.
I try not to cry when he wants to play sports, a new bike, or even cool shorts.
To be in the Scouts, or other cool things.
We try to do the best with what little we can.
Live life and laugh.
He's just a little boy, but he's also my little man.
So, when you sit and whine, about all you think you can.
STOP lying to yourself and become a better man.
There really are NO excuses, think about that if you can.
