The Inn of Eternal Rest
Looking back at my life and how far I've come
Many joys a few regrets but what's done is done
Soon my journey will continue and I hope to be a guest
In that faraway place called The Inn of Eternal Rest
Sometimes this world of ours and its many woes
Create burdens so heavy that seem to grow and grow
We bend under the burden hoping to never break
With a smile on our face while inside we deal with heartache
Memories flood my mind as my hands grow ever more idle
As I wait patiently for that final trains arrival
That train that will carry me dressed in my Sunday best
To that faraway place called The Inn of Eternal Rest
