The Illusionist
He stands there
looks you straight
in the eye
And begins to tell
you the truth when
you know it’s a lie
He has become
confident in his own
manipulation tactics
An illusionist using
smoke and mirrors as
a distraction
What he has not come
to realize in his
life of delusion
Is the audience is
not fooled by his
tricks of illusion
