The Illusionist

He stands there looks you straight in the eye And begins to tell you the truth when you know it’s a lie He has become confident in his own manipulation tactics An illusionist using smoke and mirrors as a distraction What he has not come to realize in his life of delusion Is the audience is not fooled by his tricks of illusion Written by Erin Soares-Anselmi

Hope South Dakota is the answer. Your son needs to become a drug counselor. Tell your son that a friend has a son who is addicted to drugs and she was asking what advice should be given to him. I'll bet he is a great artist and don't have to be one of the smartest. Soaring with Erin is beautiful like a blue heron. Sounds like a great name for a Poetic Web Page. What do you think? Jim Horn

Aha. So who is this referring to or is it just life in general. Will have to read more of your poems. Where do you live at. I live in Bolivia, NC and Hurricane King Arthur (Author) is supposed to land here tomorrow.

Thank you Richard, this was inspired by my son and his struggle with drug addiction. He has come to believe that everyone either doesn't understand him or he has them fooled. Me especially. I am not. Thanks again.
