The Idiom of Love

I was drinking wine I was making minds mine I was turning keys I was setting people free I was being deceived By the silent side of me I was welcomed home I was gone away I was free to roam I was told to stay I was being confused By the soul that I had used I was flying by I was flying high I was never questioned why I was prepared to die I was beautified By the ugly side of life I was crying tears I was drowning in my fears I was feeling weak I was releasing my years I was afraid to peak Afraid to get near I was smart enough to be a step ahead She did more crying than I did I was strong enough to be brave She loved enough to be my slave I was dumb enough to let her go She was smart enough to lose hope

I agree with both the comments. I still say if you love something set it free . Many things in life can hurt and we learn from our mistakes. I like the emotion in this write. God Bless Phyl

Hi Ryan, This is very sad and captures the pain of losing someone you love and the realisation of our mistakes. Well done! N :)
