The Ice That Blows Within My Soul

The heartache is closing in,
Following me around like a shadow.
The icy winds of a shattered love,
Blows through a stained glass window.

My broken heart is all I have,
The one that neither smiles or laughs.
Where the blood bleeds through
And causes me pain and sadness.

Some nights I find myself dreaming,
Then I wake up and you're leaving.
Was I the cause for us to fall?
Babe, did I matter you at all?

Wishing I can go back in time,
And hold on with all of my might.
Instead of letting you go away,
Not knowing this was our goodbye.

Wanting to take everything back,
All the things I put you through.
Just look into your beautiful eyes,
And tell you, "I still love you."
