The Ice Queen

If I could hear your thoughts and words unspoken
If I could put the smile back on your face
If I could mend that heart so sorely broken
If I could feel I’m truly in the race

If I could only tear down your defences
If I could make your demons disappear
If I could reawaken long dead senses
If I could stay and kiss away a tear

If I could wave a wand and make you whole
If I could win your heart, and make it mine
If I could dust the cobwebs from your soul
If I could just reverse the hands of time

But, the ice Queen in her castle high residing
Repelling all advances on her heart
All feelings and emotions she is hiding
And I know, that it is time for us to part
