The Husband and the Wife

Prolific?
Teriffic!
Call me when the check has come

But honey no dime
For my rhyme
Will arrive

Then woman
What the heck
I'll break your neck

And sell the ivory for wine

Well that was very interesting Autumn - In the third stanza a sad truth is spoken in many cases - I have learned that violence is never the answer - Except of course in defense - Back when we were addicts my wife and I had one fight that I consider one of my most shameful days - I didn't beat her or nothing don't get me wrong but I did do some things that I shall always regret - Great poem - God Bless
