The Hunt
Our love was reaching at new heights
but unexpectedly she disappeared;
leaving my heart solitary.
I rambled for her with wet eyes.
Melancholy seized my soul.
Thousand times I dried my tongue
calling her name in the wilderness.
But it turned out to be a waste of time.
Then one night, I saw her in the woods
and a chill ran down my spine;
She was half human and half zombie;
Grabbing an human arm with her teeth.
I knew she would invade the hamlet
as she was not in her own control.
Slyly I took out my gun
and ceased my beloved wife's heart forever.
Eventually, I understood why she left me;
because she loved me and didn't want to harm me.
I hugged her strongly and sobbed for hours,
"I'm sorry, forgive me."
