The Hundred Year Flood

it can happen tomorrow
so shoulder the forecast of sorrow

a water to break like a lake
oh my God! For God's sake!

floods so rapid, ravaged, and to damage
oh how are my feelings am I to manage

what about the rainbow to come
they really mean so much to some

God why? I cry! yet we all die...
do something now I say with a sigh

how long was I to shoulder Boulder
now I've grown older... onward soldier!

hear this story yet don't worry
but for 300 will be the top story

quick response to save all somehow
don't forget history; take heed now!

I implore... Boulder...
grow so much older!
