The Human Race
What makes us different and what does not
Is it the color we bleed or just the skin that we’ve got
Could arrogance be dictating what’s right or wrong
Why must we feel like we don’t belong
Could it be a sexual preference, or maybe none at all
When did we learn to hate, where was that trip and fall
Individually we are different, on that we can agree
Mankind is all one group, that is what we need to see
If doesn’t matter if you’re gay or straight; red, black or white
We are all the same, no matter how we spend our night
Every man, woman and child occupying this time and space
are part of something special, it’s called the Human Race
