The Horror Within
In my heart there is a hole,
Blackened by sins left untold.
Then you come along with your beautiful light;
Cleansing me, healing me, setting all to right.
As my darkness consumes me,
You help me to breathe.
For you are the only one I will ever need.
Though my darkness has taken over me;
I survive, because you are by my side.
Though Despair has me in His might,
Your love will forever free me.
So baby love me, love me for who I am;
For your the only one who understands,
The Horror within my eternal soul.
My depression has me bound,
With chains and handcuffs to the ground.
Your love lifts me and gives me wings,
The chains fall like useless things.
You guide me to your heart,
Promising that we will never part.
Your love has pierced me like a dart.
