The Holy Spirit of Godly Intensity
on the verge of being crucified
for our sins destined to die
He asked we keep His communion true
and never forget all He went through
Jesus promised to never forsake us
for us He atoned
He gifted us the Holy Spirit
so we'd never be alone
His presence a gracious entity
the Holy Spirit of godly intensity
let it to manifest in its totality
consume us with a godly propensity

passionate purposeful
focused is our emotions
joy-filled, divinely driven
our dedicated devotion
the Holy Spirit of godly intensity
the Holy Spirit of godly sincerity
let it compel us, impel us
to be like Jesus the Christ
let it urge us, converge us
as we walk this Christian life
let us be like Jesus
who prayed through adversity
let the power of the Holy Spirit,
infuse us with it's intensity
let it break us to remake us
let it mold us to now enfold us
engulfed by its fires
as it burns away our sins
immersed in its desires
as it renews all over again
