The Holy Scarf

The priest stares towards the new blushing bride
A question in his old eyes
Replaced by a sweet smile

Gives her delicate hand to waiting groom
Blessing their pious union
With a holy red scarf

Very nice, Tahera. Whose wedding was this one? I have one to post soon too! Good luck, sweet lady!

What a lovely image of a wedding ceremony, Tahera! This must be part of your culture. I hadn't heard of this tradition before -- blessing the couple with a red scarf. Very nice! Best wishes in Dr. Ram's contest. Love, Carolyn
