The Highwayman

For love has come, thus will go.. But do you think I will ever let you so You will be alone in wandering And might think that I will do nothing.. So there I went to seek revenge Rode my horse to take avenge To those who took you away from me The reasons why you I'll never see.. While on my way to where you're last I saw the happy image of our past.. Before you warned me of your death.. My Bess, without me you took your final breath.. Now I only have a thing in mind Tim the ostler I will find Let him pay the priceless debt For this sole cause my life I bet.. But how sweet a life would be.. If living is just a loan to me Then death I shall willingly bargain So I can be with you once again.. Then I heard a loud noise, a bang! Blood is oozing, my thoughts hang.. Everything around me stood still.. And I saw you, my love, my will.. The sacrifice you made my love Got us together, you now I have.. In the winter's night I met you Today, tomorrow and all that's due..
