The Hero of Nobility
In my retirement I can live a life the way I take,
The rising sun paints the eastern window red when I awake.
Serenely everything takes its course in great contentment,
The charms of the four seasons are our common enjoyment.
Tao universally resides in things both visible and invisible,
My thoughts run with winds and clouds in forms variable.
If a man remains placid both in prosperity and adversity,
There’s no doubt that he’s the real hero of nobility.
