The Hero

He’s gone, gone, gone away
                                         By saving their souls
                                             In the motorway
Where the fire ate the place
                                           In less than a day
                                      he remained over there
                                            watching the ray
                                   while melting in the flame
                                   and listening to them say
                                         “hero, hero, hero”
                                             at last he said
                                           “my soul is allay”
                                 He saw them from heaven
                                      Calling his name
and hopefully wishing to see him again
