Let me wipe away your tears of hopeless pain
The Lord's love towards all is numerous like the stars, so let the past disappear like California rain
The heart beats on like the drums in the night
The midnight stars shine as you open my eyes
I have a feeling you and I will be together again after hours of flight
Your eyes flicker with delight...it makes me smile to share an experience of natural highs

Love and good works
Light up the sky like fireworks
The heart is wide awake
The mind longs for peace to find
For your own sake,
Don't let the sorrows of time unwind

Mirror the pain in my heart and you'll see that you're not alone
Our Father will see to it that we're not alone, though we assume that we're on our own
Pretending to be perfect won't get us anywhere, so worry no more, my much adored dear
