The Heart of a Poet

i always find myself
passing the time
thinking of life
in riddles and rhymes

moments to moments
my visions are verse
metrical in composition
as if watching a play being rehearsed

poetry runs through my heart
 thoughts woven in gold
lyrical are my days
maybe my life would best be told
with an ode

Very well written. I think many of the poets on this site would agree with the sentiments in your lines! Sometimes, it is very hard to tell if life is poetry ot if poetry is life.
