The Heart Does Speak'

Searching for light through the darkened storm

Wondering how I got here

Wondering now... if I'll make it back home

I fell in love once

She walked away

I couldn't blame here

For
I left her in pain

Hurting and crying and feeling alone

As
we lay side by side

In my mother's home

Never did I mean to ever hurt you

You were my world

But
Only did I desert you

The heart does speak in ways without words

If only you'd listen

You'd know that you deserve.
