The Healing

Freedom's colours - pink and grey,
Long hard night
but endless day, Dawning as I speak.

Life's reflection in my eyes,
Wondering....
what 'where's' and 'why's' would cause my heart to weep.

Distance nigh and draws e'er near
Gone.
The need for feeling fear slow fades unto the end.

Love awakens once again,
Scarred -
Pink healing over pain renewing not hurt's trend.

Smile's cover frowns so dark,
Hidden -
'neath a costly spark igniting trust in them.

And precious daybreak bright as sin,
Enraptures -
All those glorious blooms on stem.

I speak for each of them
I love -
With poem and prose those priceless souls I care for...

.....and so I strive to see,
with Hope, a family -
Yes, those perfect pearls I dare for.
