The Harvest Moon Ascends

The deep tangerine glow of the harvest moon
has brought a sensual emotion that ignites.
The embers migrate to an ebon raven’s tune,
and bestows such magnificent perfect sights.
For I am but a woman who loves nature’s best,
as I lay my head below the harvest moon to rest.

Ascending to heaven as the night shines on,
the outshine of brilliance has given such ease.
Soon and very soon will arrive God’s dawn,
and all that is nocturnal will begin to cease.
For the harvest moon is vivacious and clear,
as all the little nightly creatures sleep near.

Stardust descends onto fields that will fade,
lunar lace will redeem the season it brings.
There are moonbeams allowing a serenade,
and soon a brand and fresh new day rings.
For I feel the harvest moon’s pure perfection,
as we wander with hope sharing a connection.

Beliefs in God's wonder has brought such delight-
feeling the gleam of the of the bright moonlight.
