The Harsh Reality

Nobody paid attention when the situation caused tension
disrespectfully dismissive saying it was my invention
label me as needing lies to feed hunger for attention
turning all eyes blind spreading theories and misdirection

Leaving me alone and subject to the suffocation
laugh at me though I show a clear and open frustration
never letting go of the idea it's my creation
as slowly distance grows leaving me in isolation

In reality my jobs lost but is shown no recognition
bullied out unfairly forced to sign my resignation
seeded in all minds remains the idea exaggeration
unemployed I'm acting up displaying aggravation

I needed help but when I shared
I was shown nobody cared
they even had the nerve to dare
and spread their idea everywhere

Treating me like I'm a fool
claim I'm always shouting wolf
joking all the while I fall
tell the world I talk the bull

How dare they not believe my words
show I'm worthless and desert
ridicule pain and make it worse
call me mad as truth they search

The truth was silenced the whole time
as was I whilst labelled out my mind
the truth I tell shows friends unkind
as all tell me help I must find

Ignorance phenomenal
I suffered and lost it all
I was treated horrible
now I'm judged illogical

They don't believe a word I say
they don't believe this adds to pain
and I tell friends to go away
the world believes I'm acting strange

This is my reality
an unknown actuality
viewed as my insanity
though it all happened to me

So I walk on alone
understood and not upset
losing everyone I've known
knowing their an idiot
