The Hardest of All

I think to myself

As tears hit my pillow,

All I ever wanted

Was to be happy

With you-

Day turns to night

The sun red like fire,

Only pain in my heart

Caused by you

And your inability to feel

For anyone

Who actually cares.

My mind draws blank

As I cry once more,

Hard to eat-

Hard to breathe-

But hardest of all

Is to leave.
