The Harder Choice

We must be willing to turn away from our tendencies.

In order to cross the burden of limitations, so we can be free.

We must choose to steal the tide.

That used to overpower us, and force us to hide.

Inside these caves, we used to stay.

But now we chose the harder choice, which is to stray.

We shall wander through trees of strong oak.

And battle the rivers that will nearly steal us away as we soak.

And perhaps this world will intervene.

And drown our souls in this ravine.

But the more we travel willingly.

The more our arrival will be taken seriously!
