the happy things
The sweet perfume that comes from a rose
The feel of a snowflake that lands on your nose
The countryside smell of freshly cut hay
The protective arms of a mother that sends your
fears away
The stars in the sky you just cannot reach
The sand between your toes as you walk on the beach
The warm embrace of two lovers in the dark
The cold bracing wind as you walk in through the park
The things that make us happy might the small things we do
The small happy things are a gift for all of us for me and for you
