The Happy Poet
A happy Poet am I.
Full of love and laughter.
There's nothing I wouldn't do, for you.
To get what I am after.
To be with you, now and forever
To spend my life with you, forever.
To wake you with a kiss.
Never to miss, a life of bliss.
Take a walk to the park.
On the beach to wander.
Everywhere you go.
Beside you.
I linger.
At the end of day.
Sunset drawing in,
Must I go dear?
I know that I should.
But I feel that together.
Makes me happy, forever.
Walking home in the rain,
Forgot the umbrella again.
Singing and dancing in the rain.
Life, a happy refrain.
You and I together.
