The Hand of God In the 1980's

God rules supremely in His perfect sovereignty Over world events and throughout eternity With His omnipotence, wisdom and majesty Including the 1980’s full entirety. In the great decade’s varied defining moments God prevailed in economic developments Midst fantastic music, sports and entertainments Along political and global engagements. For sure, God knew all about the “Rubik’s Cube” rage Of “Compact Discs” commercial launching’s advantage And the first-ever “Post It” notes for every age Also “Pac-Man” fun versus addictive rampage. Though busy with international history God’s hand reached down very timely to my country* For momentous peaceful “coup d`etat story” Called “People-power revolution” victory. God’s grace to me in the 80’s are wonderful Blessing me with three graduations truly blissful** Most of all, He offered His love so bountiful Which I received my Saviour Jesus by faith***, making life meaningful!
