The Guilty Ballad
I knew it was wrong
I’m sorry
It wasn’t for that long
I’m sorry
But the deed is now done
I’m sorry
And I’m no longer his fun
I’m sorry
He seemed so calm
I knew it was wrong
While I had a qualm
I knew it was wrong
But I buried my Yelp
I knew it was wrong
To ask lord for help
I knew it was wrong
My eyes went dead
He seemed so calm
Only they left the bed
He seemed so calm
I pushed his wet chin
He seemed so calm
Off of my scarred skin
He seemed so calm
I’m sorry
My eyes went dead
Next time I’ll parry
My eyes went dead
He asked if I loved him
My eyes went dead
I’ll always love you Tim
My eyes went dead
I left his house silent
I’m sorry
I was the compliant
I’m sorry
I’ll never be the same
I’m sorry
And I know I am to blame
I’m sorry
