The Green Man

A cacophony of chlorophyll
Drugs molluscs and insects
The slap hazard colourful
Spring riot resurrects

Angels that genuflect
Terrible and wonderful.
Free from death life forgets
How it had felt to lie

Frozen beneath the sky
Searching the slightest
Spark to ignite the eye

In the deep forest
Cobwebs assume the earthy damp of shrouds
Flowers bloom, full and fat as clouds

Nice to come across something a little different. Love your choice of language unearths this piece and runs almost literally off with nature. Lovely indeed.
