The Greatest Treasure That I Have Ever Found

The greatest treasure that I have ever found

The greatest treasure that I have ever found
is not fortune or power or fame of any kind

It is far greater then that
and
it doesn’t cost you anything

Because it cannot be bought

And some may say for the right price
that
they can have anything that they want

And in so many cases they may be right

But the one thing that they cannot buy from
anyone
is far more precious then gold or diamonds

And it’s the greatest treasure that
could
ever be given or received by anyone

And in my mind I have come to the conclusion

That being truly loved without question
is by far
the greatest blessing that you or I
could ever have the opportunity to find

I enjoyed reading your poetry today Dean. I am looking forward to tomorrow and what I might read of yours again. Never let your pen lay and dry out. The best to you in your writing endeavors whatever they may be. Love, Carol
